We celebrate and promote autistic community and culture.” The website includes reliable resources to learn more about autism, up-to-date directives to take action in community and political issues, and other ways to get involved in autism support.
Uniquely Human by Barry Prizant, PhD
Dr. Prizant is a speech pathologist and adjunct professor of Communicative Disorders at the University of Rhode Island. His book provides accessible information about autism that helps readers understand it in a humane way. He prioritizes offering strategies and different ways of approach autism in a way that is non-pathologizing and affirming of this particular form of neurodiversity.
Autism in Black Podcast, with Maria Davis-Pierre, LMHC
This podcast prioritizes autism education for Black parents. Maria Davis-Pierre provides support, and empowerment to help Black parents support both their Autistic children and themselves.
Unmasking Autism by Devon Price, PhD
Dr. Price is a social psychologist and clinical associate professor at the University of Loyola – Chicago. In his book, he does a deep dive into the Autistic experience of masking, both educationally and from personal experience. Masking is when neurodiverse individuals try to assimilate into the neurotypical population by “masking” their neurodivergence. He honors Autistic people in a strengths-based way by emphasizing unmasking and self-expression.

This podcast by The Autistic Woman is for Autistic individuals who are late-diagnosed, self-diagnosed, and undiagnosed. She provides information about autism both through personal, lived experience, and opinions about autism research.
