I FOUNDED THE THERAPY STUDIO TO help WOMEN build LIVES THat not only look good, but also feel good.
I’m no stranger to the challenges that women face in 2026 - both individually and systemically (f the patriarchy).
I recognize that our successes are often sandwiched between people-pleasing and the pressure to achieve, and are influenced by wanting to be seen, to be cared for, and to belong.
Being a successful, modern, and healthy woman is hard work—but it’s not impossible.
I believe that we have more say than we think when it comes to living lives and finding relationships that feel worth the work.
The Therapy Studio is a change-focused therapy space that let's you get creative with your future by using your strengths to change your life for the better.
I specialize in working with hyperindependent women who have experienced complex or childhood trauma -- those who just want to slow down, be present, trust others, and be cared for (for once).
I believe that therapy is political, and that systemic issues like women's rights, human rights, reproductive health rights, oppression, racism, colorism, classism, ableism, and LGBTQIA+ rights (among others) all impact my work.
I’m not afraid to say what you need to hear, because change doesn't happen when I just agree with you all the time. Let's do it.
After graduating in 2013 with my master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, I started my counseling career as a school counselor. I have over 10 years of experience working in schools with children and adolescents and I am licensed to work with all students in grades K-12. In 2019, I completed my Educational Specialist degree in Mental Health Practices in Schools from the University of Missouri–Columbia.
In addition to my lifetime Missouri certification as a professional school counselor, I am a licensed professional counselor. This means that as of 2017, I am fully licensed to provide therapeutic services in the state of Missouri. I have been in private practice since 2017, and have owned my practice since 2020. In 2019, I completed training to be a clinical supervisor, which allows me to offer supervision to provisionally licensed professional counselors.
I am also a nationally certified counselor, which means I have been recognized by the National Board of Certified Counselors for meeting the highest standards of counseling practice.
I am a lifelong learner, which means I am dedicated to discovering and mastering therapeutic practices and interventions to make me a better therapist for you.

Tank has been certified as a therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, which means he went through extensive training to be able to attend our sessions on his best behavior. He is a rescued 10-year-old Australian Shepherd mix. He loves people and will always be excited to greet you when you arrive.
In session, he will either sit on the couch with you or lay in his bed. His love language is physical touch (and treats) and loves being close you or me at all times. He recognizes when you're upset and is supportive if you need it.
He too is credentialed as a LPC: licensed professional canine.
