I FOUNDED THE THERAPY STUDIO TO EMPOWER YOUNG WOMEN TO CREATE LIVES THEY LOVE.
I FOUNDED THE THERAPY STUDIO TO EMPOWER YOUNG WOMEN TO CREATE LIVES THEY LOVE.
I’m no stranger to the unique challenges that women find themselves in as high-achieving and high-performing individuals in 2024.
I recognize that our successes are often sandwiched between anxiety and the pressure to succeed, and are influenced by comparison and the need to belong.
Being a successful, modern, and healthy woman is hard work—but it’s not impossible.
I believe that we are in complete control over creating our ideal lives and accomplishing things that seem impossible without the support of others.
The Therapy Studio is a contemporary and progressive therapy space that allows you to get creative with your future by using your unique personality to build on your strengths.
I thrive when I work with driven, intuitive, and modern women who are wanting to unsubscribe from the hustle lifestyle and focus on inner work and simple self-care.
I believe that therapy is political and that issues like women's rights, human rights, reproductive health rights, oppression, racism, colorism, classism, ableism, and LGBTQIA+ rights (among others) all impact my work.
I’m not afraid to get a little messy with you, because life is a little messy. Let’s clean it up together.

After graduating in 2013 with my master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, I started my counseling career as a school counselor. I have over 10 years of experience working in schools with children and adolescents and I am licensed to work with all students in grades K-12. In 2019, I completed my Educational Specialist degree in Mental Health Practices in Schools from the University of Missouri–Columbia.
In addition to my lifetime Missouri certification as a professional school counselor, I am a licensed professional counselor, which means I am fully licensed to provide therapeutic services in the state of Missouri. In 2019, I completed training to be a clinical supervisor, which allows me to offer supervision to provisionally licensed professional counselors.
I am also a nationally certified counselor, which means I have been recognized by the National Board of Certified Counselors for meeting the highest standards of counseling practice.
I am a lifelong learner, which means I am dedicated to discovering and mastering therapeutic practices and interventions to make me a better therapist for you.

Tank has been certified as a therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, which means he went through extensive training to be able to attend our sessions on his best behavior. He is an 8-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. He loves people and will always be excited to greet you when you arrive.
In session, he will either sit on the couch with you or lay in his bed. His love language is physical touch and loves being close you or me at all times. He recognizes when you're upset and is supportive if you need it.
He too is credentialed as a LPC: licensed professional canine.
